Axonius: CAASM and asset inventory facts (2026)

SHORT ANSWER

Axonius connects to the tools a company already runs through adapters (its directory lists 1,306, including documented ones for CrowdStrike Falcon, Tenable, Rapid7, Microsoft Intune and ServiceNow), correlates their records into one per asset, and acts on gaps through workflows and ServiceNow create, update, remove and incident actions. SaaS apps and human and non-human identities sit alongside devices, cloud, IoT and OT. It publishes device-based pricing from $8.55 per asset at its 15,000 to 24,999 tier. It depends on the tools you connect, with no agent or native scanner of its own, describes no external discovery, and lists no free tier or trial.

Where is Axonius strong, and where are its limits?

Strengths and limits come from the vendor's own pages and our sources; a limit can be something we did not find.

Strengths

  • The broadest documented source coverage here: 1,306 adapters in its directory, with devices, identities, SaaS, software, cloud, IoT and OT listed as asset types.
  • Correlation into one record per asset, priced per unique correlated device, so a laptop seen by five tools counts once.
  • Acts on gaps: workflows with ticket tracking, and create, update, remove and incident actions in ServiceNow.

Limits

  • Coverage depends on the tools you connect: each adapter needs API access and credentials, and no agent or native network scanner of its own is described.
  • External (internet-facing) discovery is not described on the pages we read.
  • No free tier or trial is listed on the pages we read, and the AWS Marketplace listing prices 500 assets at $90,625 for 12 months.
