Asset census: compare CAASM and asset inventory vendors in columns

SHORT ANSWER

Pick two to five vendors to see the facts we record for each in one table: the five approaches, fifteen practical checks, the platform each belongs to, integrations and pricing. The table has no scores; rows where the vendors differ are tagged. It opens with the first three vendors in alphabetical order.

Vendors in the table
From each vendor's own pages, read 27 September and 11 October 2026. Columns in alphabetical order; Differs marks rows where the selected vendors differ.

Positioning

Armis calls Centrix a Cyber Exposure Management Platform. It builds an inventory of IT, OT, IoT and medical devices from agentless, passive discovery and adds modules for prioritization and remediation.

Axonius grew out of cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) into a broader asset intelligence platform. Axonius describes the Axonius Asset Cloud: it connects to the tools a company already runs through adapters (its directory lists 1,306), correlates what each one reports into one record per asset, and acts on gaps through workflows and bi-directional integrations.

Censys's external exposure management product, built on first-party scanning of all 65K ports and the Censys Internet Map.

Side-by-sides for this selection

Questions people ask

Why can I only pick five?

Beyond five columns the table stops being readable on a laptop. Use the platform notes for the full detail on each.

Why is there no total or score?

We do not score vendors. The table shows recorded facts; the finder applies your own constraints.

Can I share a comparison?

Yes. The selection is in the address bar, so copy the URL.
