Copyright and DMCA policy
Last updated: 2026-10-11
We respect intellectual property and respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512), and to equivalent notices under other laws.
Sending a copyright notice
Send notices through the contact form with the topic "Copyright notice". The form asks for each of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Identification of the material on this site, with its URL.
- Your contact information.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Counter-notification
If material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the contact form with the topic "Copyright notice", containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the person who sent the notice tells us they have filed a court action.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
Repeat infringers
The site has no user uploads. If material contributed by a third party is repeatedly subject to valid notices, we will stop accepting material from that source.
Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification, including the sender's contact details, to the party concerned.
